Graduate Student Association (GSA)
The School of Social Work has an elected student organization that acts as a liaison between the students and the administration and faculty. This group is known as the Graduate Student Association (GSA). The GSA typically is the place where graduate students can bring feedback about the program or suggestions for events and can come for direction and assistance. The GSA also plans several events for the student body throughout the academic year. Some events organized so far include student-to-student forums, student faculty meets, informal networking events for social work students, mentoring programs, coffee workshops, end-of-semester celebrations, career panels, and a graduation party. Several student organizations operate in collaboration with the GSA. These are Pride-in-Practice, MOSAIC, and Peer2Peer.
