OK. I'll start this. For the last ten years, I have been founder/president of Bronitsky and Associates. Our firm, with offices in New Mexico and Germany, specializes in international cultural marketing of traditional AND contemporary Indigenous art, music, dance; fashion; film/video; photography; theater; and speakers and writers (Native languages and English). We work with Indigenous peoples around the world. I'd like to hear from other anthropologists who work as brokers/promoters/agent/sproducers/impresarios, etc.

Hello, I am replying to your bulletin for a few reasons. First, I am a graduate anthropologist and I am looking for a way to express my skills as a practicing cultural anthropologist. Also, I have been involved in importing various instruments and technigues from the Caribe, Australian, Indian and African cultures which I have found fascinating. From the diggerydo to kettle drums I try to express that sounds and arrangements can be MADE not just manufactured and distributed. This way, people experience why music is made and American view of art can begin to focus on creating, not cunsuming someone else's creation.
I also love to travel.
Thank you for begining the message board.

Thanks for your reply. I hadn't checked this forum in a long time since there weren't any replies. I'll respond to you offline and maybe we can figure out some way to work together--I'm really not very theory oriented at all.
