In this tour we focus on the Swedish industry and history.
The first stop is in the town of Vaxholm, beautifully located in the archipelago of Stockholm, and a real summer paradise.
We drive on to Vira Bruk which is an old weapon factory. King Gustav II started production of weapons here in 1635 AD, which were the fundamental reason for Swedish military victories in the old days. The factory was in use until the mid 20th century but is now a museum.
We drive north to sea side town Norrtälje, where our experienced guide will tell you about the past and present in this old industrial town.
On the way back to Stockholm we will make a stop at Rånes Slott (Rånes Castle), which has an amazing history.
