Hi there!
I am a Afrikaans speaking person from South Africa. My grandparents immigrated to South Afriuca during 1910. They were Stanislav (Stanislaus?) Gricius and Fritha Zikas. My grandfather came from Vilnius and my grandmother came from Kaunas. I would like to find a way to try and find out what happened to their family members in Lithuania, but I don't know where to start. If there is anyone who can help me, maybe from a Genealogy club or maybe at the University, or even any other Afrikaans speaking person who lives in Lithuania, I would be very grateful! Even if it is a decendent of the Gricius family or the Zikas family.
