Studying in Austria

frostykathy 26-06-2008 05:15 Austria, especially the capital Vienna, is rife with opportunities to study, meet interesting people and have a good time. Of course there is the venerable (not to be mistaken with "venereal") University of Vienna with all its facilities. And the Vienna University of Economics which attracts the most international students. On the internet you can find some very interesting guides for student's in Vienna (places to visit, institutions to call in case of emergency, important authorities etc.). I dare not post the link (in case the Admin deems it a linked advertisement). Just to clarify some things: Vienna (and Austria in general) does have a long tradition but it is in fact a modern European city with as much "present-day bravado" to make it of interest. Kathy
