Sac State

The California State University is more commonly known and referred to most as Sac State or Sacramento State. Sac State is a public university and is located in the Sacramento, California. Sac State University is part of the California State University. It is reported that Sac State is amongst the top universities.

Sac State is known to have the sixth largest campus in California, and it is occupies 300 acres in Sacramento’s city. If you try to make your way there, the campus is adjacent to Route 50. Sac State has flower gardens, 3.000 trees and long stretches of trails along the river pathway. It also has student houses and recreational areas, Old Sacramento and Lake Natoma. If you ever decide on touring the campus, the best time to do so is in the early spring or in the fall. It is just beautiful those months of the year as the thousands of trees present a colorful display of colors.

Sac State also possesses over 30 community and research centers. The Center for California Studies is well-known. Then there is the center for small businesses that is also available. Apart from these there are plenty more at Sac State.

Off the campus you will find the top rowing skills in the country. About 15 miles east of Sac State, near Lake Natoma various national and regional meetings such as the Pacific Coast Championship are hosted. Classes in boating and many other water sports are offered to its students and the community members.
