Athens is one of the top historical destinations for students interested in the past. Athens was the center of knowledge and government in the ancient world. Students can learn more about the city and be amazed at the growth of an intellectual empire. The city is a living timeline from the dawn of the Roman Empire to the Enlightenment. Students who visit Rome should not miss the ancient structures, especially the Coliseum.
Peru was the center of the Inca Civilization. Many sites in Peru offer insight into the lives and structures of the pre-Columbian Incan Indian. Walking trips to Ollantaytambo, Sacsayhuaman, Machu Picchu, and Pisac are open along the Incan trail. These exciting tours allow students to see the five hundred year old traces of the Incas.
