Michigan Technological University


Michigan tech was founded in the year of 1885. When they first started out, the university trained metallurgical and mining engineers. But we all know how good things progress and become something great. Michigan tech offers degrees such as minors, bachelors, masters, associates or doctoral in the subjects of engineering, arts and human sciences, environmental studies, natural science, computing, business and technology. Secondary education certificates are available in technology and design, chemistry, biology, computer science, earth science, mathematics, English, business, physics and social studies. This university has become very popular over the years and many students move to the state just to attend this fine university. It has grabbed student’s attention worldwide.

The undergraduates that attend this university have the benefit of an education that emphasizes study across from, team leading, self-control, research and discipline; the students obtain concentrated, superior instructions as well as the opportunity to follow in many different academic programs. This university also sports very interesting groups for the students to join; some of the most recent groups are photography club, social science student society, psychology club, habitat for humanity and many more. There are also some new degrees that the university is now offering; exercise science, anthropology, biochemistry and molecular biology are a few of them.

Not only does this university provide wonderful education opportunities for learners but they also offer great athletic activities. The women’s sports include volleyball, tennis, track and field, cross country, basketball and Nordic skiing. The men’s sports are track and field, basketball, tennis, ice hockey, cross country, football and Nordic skiing.
