The most popular internships are mostly in Manhattan NY but that should not stop anyone from reaching out to companies in any other state. If the company you are interested in does not offer internships, it never hurts to ask if they are interested. Take your resume in and offer yourself for an unpaid internship. Give them a reason to give you that experience, state the benefits and what you can do around the company and what you expect to get out of it.
