Nicholls State University Has a Great Reputation

Nicholls state university was established on the 23rd of September 1948. They are a public university who live by the motto of “Learn.Live.Lead”. At the moment they have 6,814 undergraduates and 678 postgraduates.

Nicholls State University accounting graduates has an amazing pass rate of more than double the average of all the Louisiana graduates. This was with the CPA examinations and in two sections of the four sections of the exam; Nicholls students had the highest pass rate in the whole of the state. The NSABA association reported that for 2005 Nicholls accounting students with no advanced degrees accomplished a 30.8% pass rate on the financial section of the paper, compared to all the Louisiana students that made 12.7%, the auditing section - 38.5% compared to the average of the state: 18.8%, regulations section – 46.2% which is almost three times more than the average of the state which made 14%, the business section – 23.1% which is twice the amount of the average of the state that is 11.1%. This is quite an achievement for the students and they deserve all the praise they may get from the university as well as the public.

In the same report from the NSABA it stated that the Nicholls accounting students has the highest pass rate out the whole state’s universities that wrote the examination. This report was taken from the financial and regulations sections from the examination.

This university has now earned themselves a wonderful reputation, that reputation is well deserved as they worked very hard for it.
