University Average Pass Rate for Bar Exam Exceeded

University of La Verne College of Law students has exceeded the average pass rate for California bar exam. The results from the February California bar examination in 2005 provides information saying that the pass rate of all the first-time students that took the tests at the university was 66.7%. This is amazing considering the fact that the first-time pass rate for other state bar accredited law schools got a low 29.5%. This is quite an achievement for the students and they have reason to be extremely proud.

The associate dean for the college of law says that it is definitely the fact that having small classes and personal instructions helps the students to achieve such wonderful results. She also states that La Verne University’s students always achieve higher test results than other cal-bar law schools. Its simple, they work hard and they receive amazing results, that’s all there is to it. Only they are responsible for their excellent results.

The average pass rate for all first-time students that take the tests is currently at 54.4%. This percentage contains all the test takers including the ABA (American Bar Association) out-of-state schools, schools in California as well as all the unaccredited schools and Cal-bar accredited schools. For all the test takers, the state’s pass rate was just 40%.
