Wisconsin – The 16th Best University in the World

Since the beginning of the twentieth century Wisconsin University is known to be one of the leading universities in the United States of America. It is also ranked one of the best research universities in the world.

There are more than 70 programs available at UW (University of Wisconsin) and this is ranked in the nationally top 10. According to the Academic Ranking or all universities worldwide, and this is published by IHE (Institute of Higher Learning), Wisconsin-Madison University is ranked at 16 when it comes to choosing the best universities in the world.

The Gourman reported that undergraduate programs at the public University of Wisconsin was third best when ranked. This is third after the University of Michigan and the University of California. At the end of the day, the University of Wisconsin came seventh for overall strength when it comes to undergraduate programs in the United States.

In 2004, the researchers of Market News in Bloomberg discovered that the University of Wisconsin-Madison tied Harvard University for producing as much CEOs. The University of Wisconsin-Madison comes second only to Harvard in leading the American nation by huge numbers in the Peace Corporation and receiving doctorates. Wisconsin University is one of the 60 members involved with the AAU (Association of American Universities.

The University of Wisconsin ranked 34 in the national universities of ’07. UW is listed as a “public lvies” university – a university that is publicly funded. UW provides quality education compared to others. The University of Wisconsin is also ranked second when earning a degree in education.
